I would love to do some old school horror. I miss the pre-slasher horrors. I've started doing some research on this and will be in the writing phase sometime in Feb. We'll see how it goes.

Here is a list of movies Mike Angelo and I have compiled that have the blood, gore, madmen (and women), unadulterated violence, and sadistic torture that I/we want to draw from: (plus some horror T&A which was pretty standard at the time, espcially internationally)
Blood Sucking Freaks (1976)
À Meia-Noite Levarei Sua Alma (1965)
Esta Noite Encarnarei no Teu Cadáver (1967)
Cycle Psycho (1975)
Anjo Nasceu, O (1969)
Corpi presentano tracce di violenza carnale, I (1973)
The Big Bird Cage (1972) with Pam Grier and Sid Haig
Blood Feast (1963)
Cannibal ferox (1981)
Criminally Insane (1975)
Démons, Les (1972)
The Devil's Rejects (2005)
Emanuelle e Françoise le sorelline (1975)
Every Afternoon (1972)
The Evolution of Snuff (1978)
Freaks (1932)
Gatti rossi in un labirinto di vetro (1975) The Gore Gore Girls (1972)
The Great Hollywood Rape-Slaughter (1971)
The Helter Skelter Murders (1970)
The Hills Have Eyes (1977)
House of 1000 Corpses (2003)
I Drink Your Blood (1970)
The Last House on Dead End Street (1977)
The Last House on the Left (1972)
Mangiati vivi (1980)
Manson (1973)
Sette orchidee macchiate di rosso (1972)
Spider Baby (1968)
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
Three on a Meathook (1972)
What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)
The Wizard of Gore (1970)
The hard part is finding copies of alot of these to refresh the memory and steal...err...adapt the look from. Thats one of the things I look forward to the most. I want to pay a great amount of homage to the fucked up horror movies we saw as kids. I want this to look a bit like my Kill Bill, ya know? Actually use character names, matching costumes and the likes from these movies, but with a completely original storyline.
